• Know the four levels of need described in the Continuum of Need and corresponding service interventions
• Be familiar with the typical activities they would be expected to undertake with a child with unmet additional needs

Audience

This course is intended for all children’s workforce practitioners, i.e. all staff who work with children, young people and their families.
Although this course forms part of an induction programme for new starters, it is also intended for all practitioners who want to improve their knowledge and continue their professional development.

Duration

This course takes approximately 110 to 130 minutes to complete.
Note: There is no set time limit as it is down to how fast or slow you want to take each course and whether or not you want to take a course in one sitting or in stages.

At the end of this course is a quiz which contains questions based on the course content.
The pass mark is set at 80%.
Upon successful completion of the quiz the course will be marked as Complete and you will be automatically awarded and instantly emailed a personalised Certificate of Completion.
